  • He Was In Sudan!

Am I The Only One Who Notices That Every Time The Left Creates A Problem, They Criticize Republicans For Trying To Fix It?

"WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 - State Department analysts warned the Clinton administration in July 1996 that Osama bin Laden's move to Afghanistan (from Sudan) would give him an even more dangerous haven as he sought to expand radical Islam "well beyond the Middle East," but the government chose not to deter the move, newly declassified documents show. "

Finally, finally, finally the liberal media has decided this is a story worth informing Americans about. These declassified documents actually tell a story here. A story that involves former president Bill Clinton. Lets look closely at this for a moment. Because this fits  perfectly into my analysis on liberalism, that points out that throughout history the left continues to make problems for Americans, and its always the right who ends up fixing the problems, while they are being criticized and denounced by the people who made the problem. Its like we are living in a twilight zone here! So, this is perfect example...Clinton lets Bin Laden go, Bush attempts to take out Bin Laden and those who harbor people like him, and Bush gets criticizes by people who voted for Clinton. Do you realize how insane that sounds? Do you realize how twisted and deranged that sounds? Well, its happening, its been happening and it will continue to happen. This is evidence that clearly suggest that liberalism is a threat to the United States and hopefully we will continue to elect people to the White house who understand the importance of defeating liberalism along with global terrorism.

  • and was that a meant apology? or just a "ok, i apologized, now get the hell out my face" apology???????

  • It occurs to me that the entire reason so much debate happens here is because it is expected that alot of debate will happen here. Morrison's 9th grade "analysis" of the news surely wouldn't be worth the bandwidth by itself.

  • "elect people to the White house who understand the importance of defeaeting liberalism...."  So why did we elect Bush?  His liberalism is creating problems just  like Clinton's.

  • Liberals no longer question Bush's agressiveness in pursuing bin Laden (partly due to Clinton's failure, I'm sure), but now they are trying to insinuate that Bush took too long to invade after 9/11.  What is this?  If I recall correctly, Libs were preventing Bush from taking military action.  I just wish for once that Democrats wouldn't change their mind at every bend.

  • Fair point. In the event that, God forbid, the Democrats do ANYTHING wrong, they want to fix it in their own special screwed up way, and damn the Republicans if they try to do something RIGHT, for a change.

However, you're still dealing with a public who thinks Clinton, overall, was a "pretty good President."

Never mind that he let the biggest terrorist of the century loose, rode the economy all through his term and did nothing to strengthen it, and lied under oath, among other "small" things.

  • I don't think defeating liberalism was one of Bush's campaign promises, so I'm not sure if he understands the importance of doing so.  I wouldn't go so far as to blame Clinton for 9/11, at least by going with the evidence I've seen so far,  although I do think he should have done far more in going after terrorists like bin Laden when he had the chance, instead of bombing a camel and an asprin factory.

  • wonderful. i forgive u! lol.

  • You've got mail...

  • " I wouldn't go so far as to blame Clinton for 9/11,"

Neither would I, but he's more at fault than Bush is for those who try to blame it on him.

  • Bush did absolutely nothing about terrorism until after 9/11.  Clinton didn't do much either.  American Presidents have never really taken terrorism seriously.

  • You say the right always fixes problems the left creates and give an example about how Clinton let bin Ladin go....yet you forget Reagan was the one who was fucking his efforts against the soviets in the 1980's.  Both the Democrats and Republicans are guilty of what you say Clinton has sole blame for.  Anyone so foolish not to look the faults of their own party needs to reconsider their adament beliefs.
