Shouldn’t We All Be Optimistic Like Marisa?

     This is the difference between the left and the right, The left feeds on hatred, anger and distrust. They do not posses the ability to be optimistic when it comes to this country. Marisa from California is an American who does posses that ability. She didn’t the point at the President when her husband left, she didn’t make radical statements and analogies just because her husband left. This is the difference, this is what separates Americans. We should all be optimistic like Marisa. You liberals wake up everyday with hatred in your soul, you liberals wake up everyday searching for new ways to spew your hateful rhetoric towards this administration.

    This is the difference. You will lose the ones you love, that’s life, it has happened to many of us. That does not justify you calling this President "a terrorist". That does not justify you making analogies that label this President a murderer. When did you get this idea that you are the only ones who lose the ones you love? When did you get this idea that because you’ve lost someone you loved, that Americans would not go out of their way to defend this war effort and our troops? When did you get this idea that everyone else should be hateful just like you? This is what the left does. They are so pessimistic about this country and war effort, that they try to pull people like Marisa from California down with them. They look at the already left slanted media and pull certain things out to justify their kooky claims. They have no faith in this country, they have no faith in our troops, how else can you explain the love affair with this Sheehan woman? How else can you explain their total disregard of the corruption of the UN and Saddam Hussein? Instead of pointing out the corruption in those places, they ignore it, and point to this administration and FEMA instead. Its ridiculous. The level of ignorance and total disregard of logic one must posses to align themselves with the liberal base of this country, is absolutely mind boggling!

    In an effort to put some distance between herself and Cindy Sheehan, Hillary Clinton has made some profound comments about the Iraq war. Hillary says she happens to "think that fighting for freedom is a noble cause", is she implying that Sheehan doesn’t? Its obvious what’s going on here. We all know that Clinton is gearing up for an election campaign, we all know that Clinton’s a liberal who will, regardless of her politics, do whatever it takes to appeal to the American people. But why? Why does the left do this? Why do they pretend to be what they aren’t? You would think, with all the little lib polls out there suggesting that Americans don’t support the war, that Hillary would stand by her guns. But no, she hasn’t, she wont, because she knows that come election time, the American people will look at these two parties and make a decision. And the closer Hillary is to the kook left, the closer she is to the Michael Moore’s and Cindy Sheehan’s, the closer she is to them, the more votes she will lose.

    She understands that liberalism doesn’t fly with the American people, she understands that the only possible way for her to reach the top is to appear to be what she is not. Will this work? No. This will not work, because contrary to what libs will have you believe, the American people are not stupid. They can sense phoniness. They can tell when someone is pretending. I can understand why liberals continue to run as conservatives, I just don’t understand why anyone who claims to have such strong feelings towards a cause would do so.

"Can you honestly give me a reason, that follows some sort of logic, for you to be against gay marriage? Please don't say it's against your religion, because I said a reason that follows logic, and if you want to say that homosexuality is weakening this country, how would letting them marry or raise kids weaken it? The kid won't be psychologically disturbed, and if they are, it's because of people against homosexuality teaching their kids that it's wrong, so their kid would tease/bully a kid with two dads or moms. .......Please, feel free to ‘enlighten’ me."

     With a sure Roberts confirmation nearing, this issue is sure to be hot topic of discussion throughout the country. Andrew from Massachusetts here doesn’t seem to understand what this country is about. In ths country, marriage is a sacred institution. The left loves to complain about the divorce rate, the divorce rate is horrible in this country, that is all the more evidence that suggest we shouldn’t be attempting to destroy this institution any further. Allowing gay’s to obtain this status would weaken the values that make this country what it is. One of main talking points that the libs like to use against people who are trying to protect the institution of marriage is that government should not interfere with the personal lives of Americans. Although this might seem correct, it is a dodge. The moment you get married the government is interfering, they even give you little document saying you’re married. The number one reason why gay’s wish to breach the borders of this religious institution is that they want the benefits that the United States government would legally have to give them if they were married. Government interfere is exactly why gay’s want to be married! This notion that government should not interfere in the marriage is ludicrous because government is and has been interfering in marriage since the birth of this nation.

     Not only that, gay marriage is not accepted by most religions. Gays getting married is the moral equivalence to a Jewish male having a Bat Mitzvah in a concentration camp! Gay marriage is a total contradiction if I’ve ever seen one!

"WASHINGTON - (KRT) - Leading the way for conflicted Democrats, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday he would oppose the nomination of John Roberts Jr. to be chief justice of the United States."

"No one disputes his academic prowess. He's a very smart man," Reid told reporters in his conference room in the U.S. Capitol. But, he said, "I'm not too sure if his heart is as big as his head."

     Now I want to analyze these statements from Harry Reid yesterday. He says Roberts is smart, which is obvious, but he throws in a little insult about him being heartless. The left has stuck to this notion that if they keep labeling those on the right as "not smart", "ignorant" or "uninformed" that people will actually start to believe it. Anyone who agree’s with this war effort, anyone who has one ounce of conservatism inside them, will be deemed "stupid" by those on the left. Oh, But let someone like Judge John Roberts have a conversation with you liberals and you suddenly come to the conclusion that he is heartless. Republicans cant possibly be intelligent and have a sense of humanity at the same time right?  

    This is what the left is. They criticize us on the right for generalizing, but ignore the absurdity of their own. Its absolutely hypocritical! If you libs are going to continue to label those on the right as "uninformed morons" then you have to stick with it. Don’t suddenly change your rhetoric when somebody like John Roberts single-handedly shuts down every lib on the Judiciary Committee. We’re either stupid or smart, which one is it? This attack on Judge John Roberts by the Senate Minority Leader is a perfect example of how liberals view conservatives. They cant possibly imagine why someone would invade Iraq, they cant possibly imagine why someone would be against abortion or gay marriage. If you are a republican, and you are intelligent enough, and informed enough to stick it to those on the left, then you will be labeled "heartless", or "cutthroat" because it’s the only way they can attack you. Their play books are becoming so obvious. They don’t view Karl Rove as someone who’s stupid, they view him as an "evil genius" who put a stupid southerner into the White house. There way of generalizing republicans is disgusting, there way of ignoring their own for their faults is also disgusting. The American left has continued to show nothing but ignorance and deceitfulness to the people of this country.

     This is what supporters of The Peace Mom seem to have forgotten. This military is voluntary. This notion that this President is responsible for the death of Casey Sheehan is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, if this President didn’t invade Iraq, there is a chance he might not be dead now. But, if he didn’t join the military there’s is also a chance he might not be dead now. It is not "deranged" to believe this war isn’t justified. But to preach hatred for this administration, to claim this President is a terrorist, is absolutely "deranged". The careless driver who killed your sister was the one behind the assault. George W. Bush isn’t murdering marines in Iraq. The analogy you have made is disgusting. Why is it so hard for you libs to realize that the terrorists are the ones killing our servicemen? Why is it so hard for you to realize that even before we invaded Iraq they were killing Americans?      So once again, the left has ignored the failings of their own party here. My opinion on this is simple: We did not do enough. When I say "we" I mean America. I mean the federal government, the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans. Race and class had nothing to do with response, we were unprepared.

     Now Cindy Sheehan, or "The Peace Mom" as I like to refer to her, demands here that our troops be pulled out of Iraq and New Orleans. Obviously an analysis on this isn’t nessercery, but what I want to talk about is the fact that Michael Moore and Arianna Huffington have this on their sites. You would not believe how many times I hear "oh, Morrison you always generalize the left, they are people too, you need to be respectful, be nice, they are people too, not all liberals are the same, they are people too" The truth is, I am not the one generalizing these people. They are the ones who are. Is it my fault that Arianna and Moore have accepted this theory of pulling our troops out of New Orleans? Is it my fault that Democratic leaders have went down to Crawford to protest with someone who called the President a terrorist? Is it really my fault? Am I wrong to say Michael Moore and Arianna Huffington are just as guilty of politicizing this hurricane as The Peace Mom herself? No, I am not. They are just as guilty and so are you liberals who ignore this absurdity, and point the finger at this President and claim he is the one responsible. Now this President has morals and is smart so he has "accepted" responsibility. But anyone who believes that the response of this hurricane falls solely on this President needs a serious, serious reality check.

     Have you guys watched these hearings? Its almost like its unfair. Of course the dems asked Roberts to comment on specific cases, knowing full well he would and should not. But besides the partisan bickering, I find it very interesting to watch the process. I’ve never seen a confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court before, so experiencing it for the first time was kind of cool. Just by watching the first two hours of it, you could see the senate democrats came up short. Even if the question sounded like the answer would be a cheap one, Roberts seemed to have the upper hand the whole time. And he didn’t even have notes or anything. The dems had no chance, it was over before it started.
