  • They Just Don’t Get It

"COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Democratic Leadership Council, an organization of influential party moderates, named Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton today to direct a new initiative to define a party agenda for the 2006 and 2008 elections."

"The appointment solidified the identification of Clinton, once considered a champion of the party's left, with the centrist movement that helped propel her husband to the White House in 1992. It also continued her effort, which has accelerated in recent months, to present herself as a moderate on issues such as national security, immigration and abortion."

The American Left is preparing to newly define the Democratic Party as the 2008 election nears. Contrary to what liberals would have you believe, the Democratic Party isn’t going to change one bit. They do this every election year. A couples years before election day they announce that they have found a new way to defeat the right. They haven’t. They’ve selected Hillary Clinton to direct the new initiative to define the party. They just don’t get it. They just don’t get the red states. Americans don’t need Hillary Clinton to define the Democratic Party. We know what the Democratic Party stands for. We know who they represent. We know who they align themselves with. We know what these people will do to get the White house. We don’t need Hillary Clinton to tell us that. The Democrats are going to do the same thing they’ve been doing for years. Mark my words. The Democrats are going to play the race card, suddenly blacks will be afraid to leave their houses in fear of being hosed down by the police department. They will play the class card, they will do the same thing they’ve been doing for years! And they will lose miserably, again. They just don’t get it!

  • Well, people may be forgeting what they stand for.  As many right wingers are saying, they keep bashing bush, without saying what they would do.  I think even dean noticed that, and said they needed to stop bashing bush and say how to do it, infortunately, he just kept on bashing bush like the rest of them.

  • They just don't get what???

  • And the Republicans will play the same patriotic/scare the america public shitless/you're with us or against us rhetoric and assume they're foolish for thinking on their own on any issue from the war on terror to abortion to drug laws to enivromental and corporate issues. Neither party will adress the impending energy crises and lack of corporate intiative to find new long term solutions. No one will bother with considering the population issues in Africa, Russia, or China. No one will point out the horror of our national rate of personal debt or our society's obsession with material wealth.

But hey, it's easier to post a "hillary is evil" blurb every other day than bring up different issues.

  • RIGHT ON,BRO!!!!! You got Hilary's/the Dems' NUMBER!!!!!!! Keep on keepin' on.....

  • Amen. Although I'm against a lot of what the Republicans have been doing (becoming "moderates" or too liberal as well). I am becoming an independent conservative, lol.

  • haha havent posted in a while(dont worry i'll get around to it....anyway, from now on just call Mr. Clinton, Madame Madame Defarge. lol.

  • I think Mo just spews this line of bull shit to get a reaction.  He enjoys the noteriety.  Now, if he really wanted to predict something worthwhile, the winning lottery numbers would certainly be a better use of space.

But I do give Mo credit > for once, he didn't bring up the Clinton blow job!  Bravo!!

But he also didn't predict who the fearless Republican candidate will be?  Undoubtly, his crystal ball wasn't focused on that issue this time.  Also interesting is Mo didn't mention that Bushman might have won more states, but his margin of victory in the popular vote was by no means a landslide.

And now for my shameless plug > you'll all want to read my piece on bland as white bread Roberts in tomorrow's post.  Oh, & yesterday's post was on the new Christian agenda > I think you'll like that one.

    Heil Bushman!

  • In response to the guy above,I suspect.....I HOPE....."Mo" will say the Republican candidate against Hillary in '08 will be Condi......

  • It would be kinda funny to see Coulter go up against her.......jeez Ann would tear Hillary apart!

  • Coulter/Ingram 08' anybody?

  • I love Coulter and Ingraham......and let's not forget the OTHER Blonde Bombshell,Monica Crowley.....but I think it's CONDI,with a male VP,who's gonna crush Hillary in '08.......

  • Rice/Romney...or try the new flavor, Romney/Rice?
