Morrison Puts Wacky Lib In His Place
After addressing the point that states should have the rights to allow gay marriage, liberal lion announced he had no position on the issue. Just minutes ago I was completely bombarded with liberal rhetoric. Liberal lion claims marriage should be left to religions, but leaves out the fact that almost every religion in the world doesn’t accept homosexuality thus not accepting gay marriage. Soon after telling me he supported polygamy liberal lion announced that prayer in school is unconstitutional, I found it highly ironic that someone who supports polygamy criticizes me for trying to install values in Americans. Liberal lion is just another example of the hypocrisy of the left and how it continues to endanger Americans.

Liberal lion: I have no position on gays being allowed to marry
Liberal lion: it doesn't affect me
Yours Truly: It does "affect" you. Suppose someone wants to marry a dog? marrying multiple wives should be legal if gays can get married....do you support polygamy?
Liberal lion: yes. I do support polygamy.
Yours Truly: well unlike you, the majority of Americans care about the institution of marriage and will not allow it to be destroyed.
Liberal lion: the best way to protect the institution of marriage is to stop the government from interfering in it.
Yours Truly: if the government didn’t interfere gays would not want to get married.....they want it for the benefits....that’s why they haven’t accepted the term "civil union"

interesting site, interesting opinions. though i don't agree with most, i can see where you're coming from. but, i can tell from what i've read so far on the site that you're not taking your opposition seriously and molding the opposition to what you want them to say or think rather than what they do think. having different opinions is one thing, but creating a straw man is another.
about this particular blurb, i'm looking forward to reading the rest of it. if this was the best you came up with, it's extremely hard to believe you smoked the guy. the little you included on your site (and your commentary) shows more about you than the person you debated. it appears that you hastily assumed that your opponent was liberal when he was really libertarian. i hope that you know that there is a huge difference between liberal (in u.s. terms) and libertarian (or classical liberal) ideology.
