Drudge had a funny headline up today, well at least I thought it was funny. "Al Qaeda blames Blair for Bombs" lol, I mean come on. Al Qaeda blames Blair for bombs? This is where the American left comes up short. You see, if a liberal read that headline they would actually began to wonder if it was true. They might not accept the idea, but they would consider it. You cant sit down and analyze these people, you cant negotiate with these people. This whole concept that has been adopted by the left, that says that London was attacked because their involvement in Iraq is absolutely insane. There were terrorist attacks before we invaded Iraq, 911 happened before we invaded Iraq. Why did they attack us then? We had not stole their oil then, we had not carpet bombed their cities then. Why did they attack us then? This is the problem folks, you cant try to understand these monsters, that is not the way to deal with the problem. The only way to deal with them is to continue to eliminate their population. It’s the only way to get the job done.

You're so right. Arabs are not people, there is no source for their anger with us: only animal agression. We can only deal with them by eliminating their civilian populations.
A harsh but effective was to pretty much eliminate terrorism --- napalm the entire middle east (except Israel of course). A few hours and it'll be nothing but ashes......"I love the smell of napalm in the morning"!
It's so lovely when you chaps advocate genocide. Even if all the garbage you accuse the left of were true, your misguided and nightmarish policy suggestions would still be a million times worse. How do you spend your time, torturing small animals?

Did I not say that the napalm thing was harsh? I didn't 'reccomend' it, I merely said it would be an effective way to end terrorism. The only thing that the Arab world has understood for about a thousand years is violence -- they see politicians as weak and cowardly and sadly the only way to deal with them is through force. In Russia there were some terrorist acts and the government found the terrorists familys, chopped off a few body parts, and sent those body parts to the terrorists --- the terrorists stopped REAL quick. Just like how they use fear against us, we need to use fear against them.

I love the russians and their complete disregard of moral integrity when dealing with people like terrorists. They get things done and they keep their people safe. Lol. We cry when we're attacked and stick together for awhile and then we begin to fall apart. Is it going to take another attack for us to wake up and realize what's happening?
You're right Neolib, it's not just animal aggression. It's full flung hatred, they hate us and everything we stand for. They hate the freedom of a democratic nation, they hate the freedom of religion. To say that they don't is ignorance.
Do I think genocide is good, no. But do any of you believe that a people who believes diplomacy is weak will ever be willing to negotiate? It's a dangerous situation, one I think we entered too lightly but have the responsiblity not to back out of.
As long as we are in a war, terrorists will attck nations that are helping. For the most part, nations peaceful to them currently are safer, because they want to discourage the war. Now, once there is peace, they will go back to attcking anyone they can.
And about why they hate us, I think its mainly because it's our fault that the strongest nation in the Middle East is Israel. We support Israel, and they hate us for that.

Partly, a bigger reason is that their religion commands them to "convert or kill all infidels (non-Muslims". Yea, nice peaceful guys the liberals have their!

These terrorists would have loved to attack london regardless of whether or not we invaded Iraq. I was a liberal who supported the Iraq war. Keyword is supported. It is so obvious that more troops are needed in Iraq, yet our chickenhawk president refuses to commit more troops. I am hurt about being misled to to whatever extent that the administration knowingly let the public on. I am scared because we have not sent more troops in there. Every day increases the strength of Al Queda thanks to Iraq, via propaganda material, a new training ground, and access to a surplus of weapons scattered throughout the country. This administration is not committing as much to Iraq is it needs to if it is to protect us from future threats from terrorism. I was misled in the lead up to this war and I am angry, however we broke it, we bought it.

Killing every muslim in the middle east wouldn't solve the problem, unfortunately. We have made the crucial mistake of letting them infiltrate our society for so long that they are not only natural born citizens in many cases, but a fair number of them also hate us. This makes enforcement difficult since according to reports from England, the prime suspects at hand were born British subjects.

And a big part of that is liberals in the government bitching about how we should pull out instead of sending more troops! So call your friendly Democrat congressman that you elected and tell them to shut up and let the military do it's job.

the lack of humanity on this board is very sad, as well as unamerican. if anything, it shows that some who call themselves "americans" can be just as hateful as the terrorists. you clearly know very little, if anything, about their values or their religion. you don't even know that not every arab is a muslim and vice versa...you just assume it b/c ann coulter or sean hannity told you. according to your mindset, the violence we commit is justified, while the violence they commit is not...our lives are more important than their lives, we are born angels and they are born killers, etc. it's hypocrisy, really. what makes us better than they are? do you really think that our values are that much different than theirs? or do you just inflate your own values and dehumanize the values of arabs and muslims to justify murder? the terrorists do the same thing, so did the nazis, so did those who supported american slavery. do you even realize that you sound just like them?
bin laden and company say that we're monsters, that we only help countries when it benefits our bottom line, that we are immoral monsters that need to be eradicated, etc. yet you do the same thing to them. you can attack me for being "leftist" or whatever label you'd like to stick on me. but the fact is that you have no legitimate defense for your hatred except for ad hominem attacks. the fact is that this hatred will keep terror going...it will never go away until this hatred goes away.

If we KILL them (which, sadly violence is the only thing these primitives understand) it will go away, but not with liberals proclaiming their love for terrorists and talking about how we should give them orange glazed chicken (not a joke) and treat them better than the average American gets treated by their boss.
Hating hate is kind of a paradox, but they are murderers for the sole reason that their religion demands it. You can try and claim that they're 'extremists' but they're actually following the religion and the 'normal' Muslims are just half-assing it. Also, I like how it took 4 years for any 'moderate' Muslims to denounce terrorism -- maybe they finally realized that they should keep up appearances so that the liberals will still love them? These people even murder their own and have done so for centuries, so how can you try and claim that this is caused by the US? Little tip -- Michael Moore is very good at distorting the truth (I've seen his videos regarding things like outsourcing and such and it's so fake it's actually kind of funny).

i'm a student of religion as well as a liberal, so i'm speaking from a certain level of understanding which is clear you do not have. the terrorists are using portions of their religion to justify violating the spirit of it, just like what quite a few christian conservatives do on the regular. again, don't talk about something you know zilch about. and in terms of denouncing terrorism, it has been going on for centuries, and we're just as guilty as anyone. we didn't even care about it until it made it to our borders. why should the muslim community care about us if we didn't care about them? we are not intrinsically superior to other human beings. and about love for terrorists, nobody is proclaiming love for terrorists but you.
