Sheehan Is Just Another Lib!
Moderate Meade All Wrong On Sheehan
"I said 'anti war crowd', Morrison. Don't pull words out of my mouth just so you will have something negative to say. I believe I said, "the anti war crowd has centralized their voice . . . [and] she has plenty of troops.... I believe what she is doing is great. She is voicing her opinion..."
"One more thing: how is she a nut? If my mother lost me to a war she didn't believe in she would probably be just as 'nutty'. "
So once again this Sheehan story has been misinterpreted. Kyle Meade believes this woman is "great", he believes this woman’s cause is noble, he believes she is "voicing her opinion" which she has every right to do according to the US constitution. *sigh* I wonder, I really wonder if Moderate Meade believes calling the President (who he claims he voted for) a terrorist is "great", I really wonder if Moderate Meade believes that is part of this a "noble cause". Don’t you find it odd that the same people who preach about freedom of speech when it comes to Cindy Sheehan, criticize people like Sean Hannity for voicing their opinions on the issues? Folks, Cindy Sheehan is a nut. She’s a wacko. She called the President a "terrorist". How do you get nuttier than that? lol, I mean this chick actually said Bush is the biggest terrorist in the world, after her son was killed by terrorists! This woman is incredibly nutty! She’s just another lib. She was a lib before her son was murdered, she’s a lib now.

Im tired of hearing from the right.."oh Morrison, you cant criticize this woman, she lost a son, blah blah blah blah..." Yes, she lost her son, but her reaction to the situation is aiding the same people who killed her son, her rhetoric that compares the President to terrorists is aiding the people who wish harm on this country. Not speaking out against this woman should be a crime! If you have taken the position of Cindy Sheehan, a position that says that the President of the United States is a terrorist for harming terrorist regimes like the one that existed in Iraq (using a volunteer force to do so)...if you have accepted that position and stand by it, you are insane. Cindy Sheehan has accepted that position, so she’s insane, she’s crazy, she’s a nut. Its really simple if you think about it.
Morrison
"Call me old-fashioned, but a grief-stricken war mother shouldn't have her own full-time PR flack. After your third profile on "Entertainment Tonight," you're no longer a grieving mom; you're a C-list celebrity trolling for a book deal or a reality show."

Nut case.
-Cute quote from coulter.
- The calandar thing (Sorry it's taken me this long to reply)= It's part of the "xanga skin". You can prolly get one if you so choose...
Yeah, I honestly think she's disgracing the memory of her son by using it to gain attention for her little protest. All she wants is to dust-off her old peace pins from Vietnam and cause trouble.
Awesome Coulter quote.
Um, pretty sure nobody forced her son to join the military. Pretty sure it wasn't in Bush's direct power to stop her son from dying, short of pulling out of Iraq, and what a disaster that would be.
And last time I checked, you could have a restraining order put on on someone who hangs out outside your house all the time.
And yeah, she lost her son. But she's wasn't the only one, and she needs to stop acting like she's the only person in the history of the world to ever lose someone they love.
nopers, what do they say about flying eggs?
I love Ann Coulter...........
"And yeah, she lost her son. But she's wasn't the only one, and she needs to stop acting like she's the only person in the history of the world to ever lose someone they love."
Yea, but liberals are major drama queens and love the attention.
Did you know that Rush Limbaugh used to be addicted to OxyContin but is a recovering drug addict...
Sorta like Courtney Love
to me it is funny to see people respond like this... to classify people as liberals and conservatives as it is a good or bad thing... to push tired stereotypes around as if they are truthful... here is some news for you...
not every conservative is for the war... not every liberal is against the war... it isn't just the exceptions either... yet it is easier to make generic statements than to look at the individual... it is easier to lump someone with the fringe groups rather than look at what they stand for...
in the end, you can say what you want and even shout it from the highest buildings... but it still doesn't make it right... partisanship blindness is the death of our political system...
Sheehan has every right to express her views and beliefs in any matter she wishes too...its what makes our country great.
Before you go on in your smear campaign try to realize this, I am a liberal and I support the war, I am an exception to your rule Morrison. Now why you continue generalizing I have no idea but to make such asinine comments with no foundation whatsoever other than your warped beliefs truly shows your partisan blindness as altshiftdelete has noted.
I have nothing against Cindy Sheehan and I believe what she is doing goes along with what the Constitution protects.
Oh and Morrison you wouldn't mind unblocking me from AIM???
Im still waiting for a post that at least has some semblance of an intelligent analysis of an issue.
GASP! RUSH WAS A DRUG ADDICT???!!! BUT .. OH MY GOD ... I THOUGHT THE MEDIA WAS JUST LYING LIKE THEY USUALLY DO!!!
Teddy Kennedy was an addict, Dostoyevsky had a gambling problem, and JFK (as well as many, many other Presidents) cheated on his wife (Really. Who would cheat on Jackie O? GOD!)
Good try, though.
"Sheehan has every right to express her views and beliefs in any matter she wishes too..."
Never said she couldn't, merely that it's disgusting that she's using her son's death to promote her own agenda. I think even Kerry or the Clinton's would have more respect for thier children than to do something as sick as that.
Chevy, I think he was pointing out that Rush has long said that any drug addicts need to be put in prison for the rest of their lives and deserve no mercy... add on to his stance of family values morals which would not include cheating on your wife, then this would be the definition of hypocrit...
Yes and lets not forget how 9/11 was constantly used as a political tool...
Yes thank you for pointing out my point altshiftdelete *applauds
But I was also trying to point out how Morrison in a way looks up to this hypocrite and it wouldn't surprise me if he copies Rush in any form, perhaps picking up his drug addict problem as well; Morrison's posts look as if they were written by someone definitely hooked on something.
Hmm. Guess I made that comment a little to easy to pervert.
My point was not about hypocrisy; if it was, everyone would have to be thrown out for something. My point was that people still choose to follow others even when their indiscretions (and hypocrisy) are noted, slammed all over the news, and reworked again.
Snake_CharmerX, way to be insulting. Grow up.
Altshiftdelete, do you have any political figure you admire? Let me know, and we can pick their innards apart together, since you seem to enjoy that sort of thing.
And, once again, WHO WOULD CHEAT ON JACKIE O? God ... that's sacrilege. Kennedy was a good President, but dang ...
"WHO WOULD CHEAT ON JACKIE O?"
Well, personally I don't think she was that good looking. *shrug*
Yeah, but still. She was an icon to millions of American women. I guess it sounds more outrageous in retrospect, huh?
"Snake_CharmerX, way to be insulting. Grow up."
I have very good grounds to insult someone of his type. In fact I think people sucking his information up need to grow up. His posts show no good clear analysis, he never debates to defend his own posts and claims and he when he does debate he modifies them for his own benefit. In other words, he LIES.
So who needs to do the maturing here chevycharmer.....
Even if you have grounds doesn't mean you should do it. It's called grace.
Who said anything about sucking his information up? Do you honestly think I'd still be a surviving conservative if I listened to anyone THAT completely?
Who needs to do the maturing, in this particular case? Not me ... however, I do have many, many more things that DO need work.
